Best New Paranormal Intro

BNPR1 was turned in, but I realized I never mentioned it. I wound up spending an inordinate amount of time on the introduction which winds up, more or less, saying “paranormal romance” is no longer “Romance-in-the-genre-sense-as-in-Harlequin, etc.” Sure, some paranormal is Romance, but some of it isn’t. Gollancz Romancz

Harlequin took on fantasy with Luna and their “dark romance” line, Nocturne, debuts in October…now Jo Fletcher will helm a new “SF, fantasy & supernatural romance” line: Gollancz Romancz.

I just finished the introduction for Best New Parnormal Romance. It’s either somewhat brilliant or complete hooey. I do mention in it how a title like Best New SF, Fantasy & Supernatural Romance doesn’t quite cut it, but then “paranormal” may not be as generally used in the UK?
