Zombies and Witches and Vamps...
Oh, My!

What happens in Vegas stays in Vegas--at least that's Delilah Street's hope. With Sin City's vampire and werewolf mobs wanting to cash in her chips once and for all, she's retreating with her partner Ric Montoya and half-wolfhound Quicksilver to her Kansas birthplace. Unfortunately, when it comes to finding trouble, there's no place like home.... It doesn't take long before Delilah realizes she's not in Vegas anymore. Zombie cowboys and spectral cattle drives are kicking up dust, the local weather girls are total witches who forecast perfect storms, and some Hollywood fanatic is recasting zombies as the greatest stars of the silver screen. And speaking of silver, Delilah's special affinity for the all-purpose monster-repellent leads her posse straight down a silver brick road--and into a not so-fun house of mirrors--putting her face-to-face with her dicey past and a mystery woman named Lilith, who's a real dead ringer for Delilah. The key word being dead.

Praise for Previous Books in the Series:

"Douglas tells one heck of a good story....Douglas definitely doesn't do the expected."--SFRevu on Vampire Sunrise

"The latest Street Paranormal Investigator thriller combines horror, mystery, romance, and sex into an exhilarating urban fantasy that puts the sin in Sin City. With plenty of twists, VAMPIRE SUNRISE is a roller coaster doing loops with each spin accelerating the ride."--Alternative Worlds on Vampire Sunrise

"Vampire Sunrise... features strong, smart, vintage clothing fashionista Delilah Street... The almost staccato-like style of Ms. Douglas' writing keeps you engaged and entertained. She makes a lot of pop culture as well as vintage movie references that fit in perfectly with Delilah's unique style. I haven't read another mystery quite like this one, the paranormal element keeps it new and fresh, yet Delilah is still solving a good, old-fashioned mystery."-- Best Fantasy Stories on Vampire Sunrise

"Filled with kisses and kick-ass action. Douglas's dishy style compliments the twisty plot, and she helpfully includes references for the numerous nods to the silver screen, Egyptology and cocktails. (Starred Review)
--Publishers Weekly on Brimstone Kiss

"Carole Nelson Douglas has written a wonderful second Street urban fantasy... Delilah discovers a new power which enables her to walk through mirrors into other realms where she interacts with the inhabitants.....Brimstone Kiss is a magical mystery fantasy tour."
-- Alternative Worlds on Brimstone Kiss

"Brimstone Kiss has all of the dark, dangerous, and unique paranormal elements readers seek, along with the passion, love and exciting temptations that add spice to the mix."
-- Darque Reviews Brimstone Kiss

"Carole Nelson Douglas provide fans with an entertaining urban fantasy that rivals that of Kim Harrison and Kelly Armstrong. The protagonist jumps from the frying pan into the fire as she tries to stay one step ahead of her enemies and those who want to use her. Dancing With Werewolves is a mystical delight."-- Alternative Worlds on Dancing With Werewolves

"[T]his fantastic first of a new paranormal series might not be a shocker for urban fantasy fans...Douglas handles the premise with such spectacular style, it feels fresh...Douglas spices the action with fabulous characters..." (Starred Review)--Publishers Weekly on Dancing With Werewolves

"With a brilliant eye for detail, Ms. Nelson Douglas demonstrates her creative talents with a captivating storyline and some of the most unique supporting characters around."--Darque Reviews on Dancing With Werewolves

"This is a smartly written, plot-driven, original novel that deftly combines the elements of fantasy, mystery, and romance to the well sated delight of the reader. Dancing With Werewolves is enthusiastically recommended."--Midwest Review of Books on Dancing With Werewolves
