Reviews of Arcane Circle
Where Fatal Circle focused more on vampire politics, Arcane Circle is all
about
the waeres. We're given an inside look on waere politics and what Johnny has to
look forward to as the Dom Lup. One of the bigger mysterious of the series is
solved, though not completely fulfilled. Johnny finally uncovers who locked away
his memories years ago by tattooing him against his will. While uncovering this
secret, Seph is brought face to face with a huge demon from her past. All the
while, Seph and Johnny must deal with the repercussions of her television
premiere...I was happy to focus on dark,
delicious Johnny. Johnny's evolution in this series both excites and worries me.
He obviously loves Seph, and though she loves him in return, her feelings and
their relationship with Menessos could prove too much for my poor wolf. Johnny
has so much love in his heart that I can't help but hope for a happy ending for
him....Arcane Circle took the various aspects of urban fantasy I love,
threw them all together, and created a masterpiece of discovery, devotion, and
desire. You have magical creatures (Thunderbird and Errol are as much stars as
Seph and Johnny), egotistical lords, and a love triangle that possibly spells
disaster for the world in general. Make sure you don't have anything planned for
a few days when you pick this up because you will not be able to put it down!

I can't believe this is already the fourth book in the Persephone Alcmedi series.
It feels like it was only yesterday that I started this fantastic series...
Arcane Circle picks up just a few minutes after the end of Fatal Circle...we're not missing one beat and you are thrown right in the middle of the story...Persephone is a fantastic character, and her life
changed completely since we first met her, she has a lot of responsibilities...
With each new book the story gets more and more intricate. We do get some pretty big answers but there are some things
left unanswered by the end of the book...I love the 'magic',the rituals, sorcery, it's
always been one of the great features of this series. Arcane Circle is such a
mix of everything...Arcane Circle is...Urban Fantasy at its best, with
lovable characters and the perfect mix between action, romance and magic! (5 Stars)--Booklovers Inc.
The fourth Circle urban fantasy is an exciting entry that is low-keyed as the
major
foe from the previous entries has been vanquished, but now the lead couple deals
with the aftermath. Johnny knows that no one lives wasting a nanosecond of the
Rege's
time; if he proves a false prophet because he cannot generate the magic from a
key
tattoo, the Zvonul will rip him apart. Sub-genre readers will appreciate the
Arcane thriller.--Alternative Worlds
I've enjoyed the previous three books of this series and that doesn't change
with Arcane Circle...My favourite parts of the book were the ones where we meet
the other powerful
weres, they were very scary, and when we finally meet Seph's mother, she has
been a huge mystery for three books and it was nice getting to meet another
important and until now silent player...I love the direction Johnny's
character is taking, little by little he's becoming more confident and sure of
himself and I really can't wait to see the other weres acknowledge him as Domn
Loup. As for Seph, she's still discovering how complicated is being the
Lustrata, but she's adjusting the best she can to her situation, and that's what
makes her such a good heroine...All in all, this was a great addition to this
incredible
series. I can't wait to get my hands into the next book! --Fiction Kingdom
